I've started seeing a trend in commercialized software reviews myself. Anywho, best of luck with Ubuntu, I'm really passionate about open source software even if there are a few bumps in the road. In answer to your question to Chris -- he told me once when we were talking about some SuperWin software --- anyway I sent him an email in that where his suggested registry cleaner cleaned [BULLSEYE as I recall] LESS than 100 errors, like 75 maybe. I told him the Superwin's registry cleaner cleaned over 227 more errors.. He said a man's got to make a living :-) .... This was around when XP had just been released for about 6 or 8 months. Owner of Superwin software said he had heard that $10,000.00 would get you a rave review. Now this is what did happen -- I sorta dropped my total belief in Geek reviews. Oh I also run only Ubuntu 9.04, but going to start running Windows 7 with Ubuntu in a VB for surfing & banking & windows for the one game I play & graphics that go in & out on printer and scanner --- from UPDATES.
